You're not wrong there.

We lost 1-0 in 1986, and I seem to remember that we had two goals disallowed.
The second of these would have been a last minute equaliser, and Scott Sellars
was sent off for dissent as a result of the decision.

To cap it all, when their goalscorer was interviewed on the radio afterwards,
he admitted "I might have been offside".

Actually, I think we lost because we wore the wrong type of boots. The surface
was frozen solid before kick off, and Billy Bremner came out with Ian Baird, to
try on several different types of boos. Presumably they selected the one which
was best suited to a rock-hard surface. The only problem was that it started to
snow during the second half and it became much more slippery. From then on our
players could hardly stand up, while the Peterborough players were much better
at keeping their footing.

That said, I still regard Peter Swan's performance that day as the worst I've
ever seen by a professional footballer.

We still owe them for that FA Cup defeat at their place in the 80s

that was my lowest point as a Leeds fan.

the 2 0 defeat at their place I have only just realised \ remembered that we
went there on the back of 6 straight victories and an unbeaten away record -
this was very much the start of the end for our Champions hope and Gary Mac.
