I thought yesterday was Ok, decent debuts for Crowe (apart from missing a
sitter) and Doyle (cracking first half not as good second). Not convinced by
Kisnorbo yet, seem to spend a lot of time kicking ball as high as he could and
seemed some mis-communication at the back at times.
Rui and Beckford were our best players - lets see if Beckford's effort
continues if he is still here past August.
Obviously letting a team with 10 men equalise is worrying but in reality we
should have been well ahead by then. We deserved more than 1 goal in the 40
minutes we totally dominated in the first half and had chances in the 2nd.
2 highlights;
1) The little kid who invaded the pitch after the 2nd goal, took ages for
stewards to catch him.
2) Finding a torn up membership card in the Members bar before the game. It
looked like someone had decided they'd had enough before the season even
started. I checked to see if its was Rich's after hearing Becchio was in the
team but had a different name.
