We came, we took 3 points - job done.
However we lost Crowe and (presumably Higgs) to injury which could cost us down
the line, and we really struggled , again, to beat 10men (remember Crewe and
Orient)
Most of the game was very non descript with no chances and very few shots and
had 0 0 written all over it from early on.
Their lad got a deserved red for a terrible 2 footed lunge on Doyle . but we
totally failed to capitalise on the advantage. A lot of that was down to Bromby
failing time and time again to join in on the overlap and thus we had no real
width and their 2 giant centre backs gobbled everything up.
Grayson did go for it , firstly bringing on Robinson , to no real effect, and
then in the closing stages moving Lubo up front.
In the end though it all came right when a free kick was met by Snoddy in
injury time and he headed home to the delight of us packed behind that goal
Overall very reminiscent of Oldham away and Westlakes last minute goal - a crap
match a crap performance but 3 vey valuable points
Dave
