Silly game. Played well for 60 minutes - dominated for 75. And ended up needing a fluky own goal to equalise in injury time.
Despite almost total domination in the first half, Snodgrass repeatedly roasting the full-back, we didn't really work the keeper that hard. With corners we can barely get the ball off the ground, yet most of our shots flew over the bar. We really really missed Beckford. Becchio worked hard but suffered from the usual lack of control. McSheffrey showed some nice touches but flattered to deceive with little actual end product and Gradel remains infuriating, clearly talented but incapable of doing the simple thing when necessary. Orient barely threatened - until they scored. Our goal was obviously deserved but we looked so unlikely to score ourselves that it was somewhat inevitable that if we were going to score, they'd have to do it for us. Frustrating but we should be fine when Beckford returns.
