STOP ADHD CAMPAIGN A busive D amaging H urtful D rugging of children The NATIONAL CENTRE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN MENTAL HEALTH has launched the STOP ADHD Campaign to stop the sanctioned child abuse of drugging children within the mental health system. In Australia there are thousands of children being given Ritalin and other drugs under the myth that they suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Hundreds of studies have shown that Ritalin has no long - term benefit for children using it. Moreover, Ritalin has permanent devastating and damaging side effects on children. Proven side effects include: brain damage, impaired learning, depression, psychosis, cardiovascular disease, growth suppression, motor tics and possible shrinkage of the brain. If you would like to join the campaign for the right of children to live drug free, then call the NATIONAL CENTRE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN MENTAL HEALTH on (03) 9689 5075.
