I am urgently trying to fill a fundraising sail on the bay for this Friday
night. It's a fantastic night out - either calm and relaxing or adventurous
(depending on the weather). If you and/or your friends are interested in
coming along please call me ASAP on 9496 5657 (w) or 9481 6414 (h).
Details are as follows:
Sanctuary Network organises actions of solidarity with East Timorese asylum
seekers. Over the past few months we have been holding evening sailing trips
on the bay to raise funds for a large action at Fort Queenscliff on Sunday
Dec 20.
Places are still available for a sail this Friday evening (4 December). We
sail on an 80 year old ketch, travelling out of the Yarra and heading down
towards St Kilda. All proceeds go to Sanctuary Network and East Timorese
solidarity.
Details are as follows:
Depart end of North Wharf at 7pm
Return 10pm
Cost: $20
Places: 10 remaining (the ketch holds 20 people)
BYO: Food, drinks, warm clothes
