His Excellency the Governor-General Sir William Deane will present the Human Rights Medal and popular television personality John Doyle will host the lunch with entertainment provided by the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir. The ceremony will also recognise the contribution of 50 great Australian individuals or organisations to human rights protection and awareness.
