Public Inquiry into Victoria's State Education System

Was Mr Kennett right?

In response to the Productivity Commission's 'Report on Government Services
1999', he commented that it was a sign of efficiency that Victoria spent
less than other states on education. (The Age, 12/2/99).

Have your Say.

People Together wishes to inquire into, and report to the people of
Victoria, on the current operation of the State's public schools system

submissions from all members of the education community, ie students,
parents, teachers, and interested citizens, particularly in relation to:

- Resourcing of schools
- Needs of disadvantaged students
