NOT ANOTHER MENTAL HEALTH WEEK

What do you know about Human Rights?
between 18 - 25th October 1999
This week will be dedicated to promoting the human rights of people in
the mental health system.
Unlike Mental Health Week, which is a week full of activities and
programs that merely promotes the oppression of people in the mental
health system, Not Another Mental Health is a week where the human
rights of people incarcerated in the mental health industry will be
given a forum and a voice.
If you would like to present something as part of Not Another Mental
Health Week then e - mail us at:

It can be anything including a paper,workshop, a demo, to a piece of
street theatre, as long as it comes from a human rights perspective.
Also if you would like to know more about the National Centre for Human
Rights in Mental Health or are interested in getting involved in the
