PLEASE CONSIDER  ATTENDING STATE PARLIAMENT  AND LISTENING TO THE
LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL DEBATE ON TUESDAY 22ND DEC AS A WAY OF SHOWING
COMMUNITY
CONCERN IN RELATION TO NATIVE TITLE AND CO-EXISTENCE.

The WA Native Title bills debate which began at 9.50pm on Wed 16th
Dec'98 in
the Legislative Council of the WA State Parliament, continued on
Thursday
and Friday and resumes on Tuesday 22nd Dec at 10am and could go
all day and
into the evening.
 If you want to hear it from the public gallery of the Legislative
Council
call 9222 7222(Parliament House) to check that it is still being
debated and
what the lunch and tea break times are.
There are three bills:- 
WA Titles Validation Amendment Bill 1998 
WA Native Title (State Provisions) Bill 1998
Acts Amendment (Land Administration, Mining and petroleum) Bill
1998
