To anyone who knows anything about the mass arrest at Jabiluka on
the
14th of July,
On the 14th of July 118 people were arrested at
Jabiluka.
Those arrested were involved on different levels. 3 different
kinds of
action. One of those actions was the group of people who walked
slowly
down the lease road, from the Oenpelli Rd. entrance, towards the
compound, thus holding back the workers' vehicles trying to gain
access
to the compound. During this slow walk some vehicles rammed into
the
protesters and put them in considerable danger. It is known that
one of
that group shot video of this ramming and other things that took
place
along the way to the compound. It would be greatly appreciated if
anyone
knows about this video, who shot it, who has it. It is hoped that
this
tape can be used as evidence in the defence of the arrested people
in
that group. Their hearing is on the 18th of January so if we can
find
it, we need it as soon as possible.
