ACTION ALERT. 6am: Time to support the locked out textile workers at Noone Street. Yesterday and today many hundreds of workers held demonstrations to support the 24 hour peaceful assembly in front of the ADC factory. These demonstrations have given encouragement to the union workers, and no scabs have gone into the factory! The Australian Dyeing Company (ADC) has locked out its union workers for 45 days, because they insist on organising collectively as members of the Textile Clothing and Footwear Union of Australia (TCFUA). 6am is the shift change time. Protest outside ADC at 169 Noone Street, Clifton Hill at 6am every morning, until the union workers are back on the job. Breakfast is served at the protest at 6am by Food not Scabs. Protest against the Australian Dyeing Company and their treatment of textile workers. Protest against the Australian Government and their industrial laws which attack unions and workers.
