Every traveller returns from Indonesia with the same tale: the
country is
awash with political debate. Which way is the revolutionary
process headed?
Can the poor get their hands on Suharto's loot? Is parliamentary
democracy
the best that can be won? How can workers and the poor best
organise? How
do militants relate to the major opposition figures and parties?

The discussion on all these questions and more will take place at
a public
meeting organised by Socialist Worker. The meeting is entitled:

Indonesia in revolution: Can the masses win power?

The speakers are:

Damairia Pakpahan, an activist in Indonesian women's organisations
who was
present at the Indonesian parliament last May when Suharto fell

and

Luke Deer, for Socialist Worker.

The meeting is at 2.30pm next Sunday, February 14, at Ross House,
247
Flinders Lane in the city. A fully stocked socialist bookstall
will be open
from 2pm.

All welcome. For more information email [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
