Dear comrade,
AAWL has received notice that organisations in the workers movement should
send delegates to the May Day Committee to ensure a successful event this
year.
AAWL supports involvement in May Day and we will be encouraging union
members to participate in May Day events.
The May Day Committee notice is attached.
In solidarity,
Manrico Moro,
for AAWL

Hon. Sec. May Day C'tee
C/o CEPU (Plumbing Div)
52 Victoria Street
Carlton South 3053
10 February 1999
To all members of the May Day Committee and its Affiliates, Trade Unions
and community organisations as addressed.
Dear Comrade,
A General Meeting of the May Day Committee is to be held on MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 22nd at 7:30 pm in the conference room of the CEPU (Plumbing
Division), 52 Victoria Street, Carlton South.
As this is the first meeting for 1999 there is not a lot of time to
organise for May Day on 2nd May, 1999.
This year, our usual site for May Day is NOT available and we need to
ratify a different site for 1999.
We ask unions and community organisations to notify their delegates of the
meeting and if delegates have not been appointed to please consider doing
so. It would be appreciated if you would notify the May Day Committee of
any changes to delegates at the above address
Yours fraternally,
Vic Little
Honorary Secretary
Melbourne May Day Committee
