Solidarity and Unity

On April 7 1998, ports around Australia were stormed by security guards
with savage dogs.

At approximately midnight, workers at Patrick Stevedores, all members of
one of the country's strongest unions - the Maritime Union of Australia
(MUA), were forcefully removed from their workplace.

This documentary follows the events of this significant industrial dispute.
A view from the Brisbane picket lines, the massive community support, the
court's decisions and the agreement (EBA) that followed. It shows the
'human face' behind the government's 'new industrial reforms'
Come and see this important new documentary by award winning filmmaker
