Protest.Net, is an activist website which has lists thousands of protests,
benefits, meetings, and conferences of interest to the progressive
community. To better help the activist community I'm now is offering
calendar software as a free service to other activist to use on their
websites. I hope by letting people create their own calendars, activists
will be able to bring larger awareness to their activities and get more
people to show up at their actions.

Calendars are easy to setup, the process takes less than 5 minutes. You
dont need to know html or how to install cgi's, all you have to know how
to do is use a web browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. The
calendar has lots of features which will help you spread the word about
your events: integration with your existing website, email reminders,
search, and repeating events. Your events can also be automatically
listed on the main protest.net calendars.

If you have some doubts, you should know that this is a free service and
you'll never be charged for it. You can find out more and sign up at the
Protest.Net website: http://www.protest.net/

You need not create your own calendar to post events or articles.
You can post events here: http://www.protest.net/add_an_event.html
You can post articles here: http://www.protest.net/add_article.cgi

Please forward this to any activists or mailing-lists who you think might
find this useful.

In Solidarity,
Rabble-Rouser
