You are invited to a send off  function for  Siri  Jayasuriya.

Siri  is a veteran labour movement activist from Sri Lanka.

Siri  has been at the frontline of the struggle  for 25 years  for 
workers rights and human rights in Sri Lanka. He is  an advocate  of 
the rights of the Tamil people to self determination and a homeland.  

Over the years he has been gaoled 5 times  because of his principles. 
 He has had to live in  hiding  for lengthy periods  and faced death 
threats from right wing forces.  

He  is currently active in organising  amongst tea plantation workers 
 who are  some of the most exploited and opressed workers in the 
world.

Waged $10  Unwaged $5.

All proceeds will  go to the Tea Workers Centre  in Sri Lanka for a 
Health awareness project.
