ST.VINCENT's HOSPITAL & AMERICAN EXPRESS
U N I T E
We urge your support and consideration re the above heading, in just
what will it end up being.
To join 'American Express' you must earn
$25,000.00 per annum upon completing the application form for the
St.Vincent's Hospital
Credit Card application.
DSP Pensioners only earn $9,000.00 per annnum and our friends who are
on unemployment benefits the same funds together with our Senior
Members of our Community.
We seek support and feedback from the Community
on 'Where is the public hospital system goin'?
What happens if you can not afford to carry an American Express
Credit Card?
The form is under the umbrella of 'St.Vincents Hospital Foundation
Victoria' endorced by Dr. Clive Vincent Wellington, Executive
Director. The form and letter from Dr. Wellington do give an
impression of a similar usage as 'Fly-bys card system gaining points
for expenditure.
I anyone out there with expertise in this area able to make simple
this question, on what happens to those who only earn $9,000.00 p/a
and not elligable for an 'American Express' card. "Private vs
Public" is a real concern to the disadvantaged regarding one of our
best public hospitals in this Country. We would welcome your
comments on what we can do about this, if anything at all.
Yours sincerely,
DSP Australia Inc.
National Executive.
