Action in Solidarity with Indonesia and East Timor (ASIET) is
organising = a FREE EAST TIMOR contingent in the May Day rally.
***Come along and join the contingent which is meeting at the Eight-
Hour Monument, corner of Lygon and Victoria Streets, Carlton at
1.45pm on Sunday, May 2. ***
Look out for the East Timor banner at the Monument and feel free to
=bring your own banners and placards. Hear and support East Timorese
activists such as Shirley Shackleton and march in the May Day Rally.
All welcome to join us and send a clear message to the Australian
government that Australian workers' interests are not the same as this
government's.
