ACCESS NEWS FACES THE AXE
Community TV needs community support NOW or may be lost forever.
This means - no more coverage of grass-roots activism
- no more community voices on TV
- no more TV news service free from government or
corporate interests
- no more community control of a TV station
Just the boneless, processed and packaged McNuggets of news offered by
mainstream TV.
1500 pledges of $200 each will save channel 31. The money will only be
called in if we reach the target of $250,000. We have one week.
If we don't reach the target channel 31 may either be non-existent or
privatised.
