McDonald's want to build a completely enclosed drive through as part of
their plan to get a store on the Bell Street Sussex Street site in Pascoe
Vale where the resident's picket is now in its 68th day. They plan to suck
the car exhaust fumes up and spew them out over the surrounding
neighbourhood with no regard it seems for the health of the residents
nearby. Gas masks are apparently not going to be issued to either their
workers or customers which tells you how much they think of their health as
well.
I would be grateful for any info that may be of assistance particularly
anyone who may have info or know of others that do on the Burnley Tunnel
that is part of City Link. We are lokking for data on the effects of car
pollutatns on people and the sort of ventilatio nthat is necessary. Does
anyone know also of any similar structures? We have heard of a Sydney store
that has a similar set up but don't know where it is. The effects of car
fumes on any workers in enclosed spaces is alos another area we would
