Peter Singer will talk about Ethics into Action

Here's your chance to hear Peter before he heads off to his new position in
the US. Well known as an animal rights activist and Senate candidate for
the Greens, Peter's new book is Ethics into action: Henry Spira and the
Animal Rights Movement. His earlier works include Animal Liberation, How
are we to live?, Rethinking life and death and (with Bob Brown) The Greens.

Hear Allan talk about Biographies: Reformers and Revolutionaries, and Wendy
on Novels: Artists and Anarchists. Wendy's novels include The day they shot
Edward, Laura, my alter ego and the recently published Miranda. With Allan
she has written a number of biographies, such as that of the Indian
socialist leader, JP: his biography, Labor's titan: the story of Percy
Brookfield, and the recent No taste for carnage: Alex Sheppard: a portrait.
