Free Burma 9999 Campaign tour
On Thursdays 10th of June 99 . Students from All Burma Students Democratic
Organization will tour students unions Trade unions community organization
and the Queensland parliament to promote the campaign to recognize
Committee Representing People's Parliament CRPP which is founded by 251
members of parliament to accomplish the convening of parliament as per 1990
elections result.
The campaign to impose Australian economic sanctions against the regime and
Free Burma 9999 global day of action.
On Friday, 12: Noon , 11th of June students will protest against Pacrim
Energy oil Company that has 8 million project in Burma. At 451 Gregory
Terrace, Springhill, Brisbane.
The campaign is strongly supported by the National Union of Students in
Australia . The Burmese community in Brisbane and many other Australian
community groups will be joining the protest. The students will call for
immediate withdrawal of Pacrim company and stop doing business with the
regime until CRPP has convened the parliament.
