A supporter of the No More Intimidation of Teacher Unionists Campaign
Committee [the group campaigning against union busting and casualisation at
Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE] has donated a collection of
spectacular pot plants in designer pots of the variety one sees in glossy
magazines.
This donation was given to aid our fundraising efforts. Yes, we still need
LOTS more money to pursue our campaign!
We are holding a silent plant auction.
This is how it works.
The plants are located in Alphington at the home of Delia Maxwell. If you'd
like to inspect and make a bid, call Delia on 9497-1496 to make a time to
drop round.
Then, make your bid. If someone else out bids you, we'll get back in touch
to give you the chance to up your original offer.
We'll be taking bids until 12 July. Then the highest bidders on each pot get
to pay up and collect their greenery.
So, help us beat the union busters AND get a gorgeous plant to jazz up your
verandah.
Or, if you don't want a plant or you live too far away, you can just send us
a donation and know that you are taking part in an important struggle.
