On Sunday 18 July from 10.00am to 12.30pm Friends of Merri Creek
will be co-ordinating a tree planting at 'Galada Tamboore' at the
eastern end of Somerset Rd Campbellfield (Melways ref: 7 J7).
The Friends group were successful in gaining Parks Victoria funding
for planting in this most spectacular part of the Merri Creek. If
you haven't visited this terrific area, come along and marvel at
it while you help to make it even more beautiful. After the planting
there will be a tour of the area.
The Merri Creek runs through the northern suburbs of Melbourne,
joining the Yarra at Collingwood. Friends of Merri Creek is a group
of volunteers who work to preserve and restore the natural beauty
of this area.
