     Produced by Ian Walker

ON-AIR PROMO:

"The time is now. The choice is yours." (sfx excerpt)

The choice is how to handle the end of the millenium and that bug. Drink,
dance and be merry? Or will you hug a sack of brown rice in your survival
retreat.

Maybe THE RAPTURE? Maybe PANIC.

"Oh Brad, I'm so frightened." (sfx excerpt)

Background Briefing, this Sunday morning after the news at 9.

(Godzilla sfx excerpt)

PRODUCER's SUPPLEMENT:

Speeding on towards the new millenium with the "x factor' of the Y2K
computer bug thrown in, there's never been a better time for the doomsayers.

And perhaps biggest problem with the Y2K bug is that it's never happened
before and no-one knows for sure how things might pan out. Amongst all of
the programmers and soothsayers who have a theory about the consequences,
none of them is saying that NOTHING will happen.

In the crazy world of 'millenial madness' the only sure things is that
nothing's certain=85
