Kate Gilmore: National Director, Amnesty International Australia. Amnesty
International's perspectives of human rights abuses against East Timorese
women, their prevention and the important role East Timorese women will
play in East Timor's future
Etervina Groenen: East Timorese woman, Uniting Church community development
worker and Anglican Church lay pastor working with East Timorese Asylum
Seekers to speak about the challenges for East Timorese in reporting human
rights abuses and the state of the East Timorese women's movement.
Arna Stewart: Counsellor Advocate from the Victorian Foundation for
Survivors of Torture to speak about the impact of torture and trauma upon
women survivors of human rights abuses.
Maria Pina : Representative from the Timorese Women's Organisation and the
Maubere Youth Organisation to offer her perspective the role of young East
Timorese women in East Timor's future and to read excerpts from "Buibere:
Voices of East Timorese Women, Vol 1."
