The Liberals getting you down? Need a good laugh? Come to the Raving Red
Comedy Night at Trades Hall at 9pm on Saturday, August 28.
Last year's Raving Red was a sell-out success. This year it moves into a
bigger venue, with a bigger cast.
Comedians performing include:
* Fred Rowan, 1998 Melb International Comedy Festival
* Catherine Deveney, 1999 Great Debate Series on Channel 9
* Matt Dean, PBS FM's Comedy Box
* Duff, 1998 Melb International Comedy Festival
* Wayne Dixon, 1999 Intervarsity Comp Winner
and
* Socialist Worker's own pair of jokers, Laughing Leninist Lenny and Chris
Breen.
The Raving Red Comedy Night plays for one night only in the New Ballroom,
Victorian Trades Hall, corner of Lygon and Victoria streets. Tickets are
$10 and $5.
Entry is free for those holding weekend tickets for Marxism for the New
Millennium, the conference hosted by Socialist Worker at Trades Hall from
Friday evening (August 27) to Sunday afternoon (August 29).
