The crisis in East Timor and the events of the past few weeks raise major
questions about politics in Australia and the region.

Come along to a teach-in this coming Sunday, October 10, organised in
Melbourne by Socialist Worker.

Topics are:

11am: East Timor and the Indonesian Revolution

12.15pm: Australian imperialism in Asia

2.30pm: The United Nations: friend or foe?

3.45pm: Lessons of the struggle against the Vietnam War

The event is being held at Trades Hall, corner of Victoria and Lygon
streets, Carlton, in the New International Bookshop meeting room.

All welcome. Entry by donation. Childcare available if booked in advance.
