November 25 to 27 inclusive.
It's organised by the Centre for Popular Education at the University of
Technology, Sydney.
Themes include:
Education and Unemployment
Labour and Union Education
Schooling and Inequality
Cultural Action
Community Work and Community Development
I have been to a number of their conferences and always find them excellent.
(I live in Tassie, so I have to make the effort to go.) Good budget
accommodation is available a few minutes walk in the Sydney International
Youth Hostel - about $25-00 per night in a dormitory. Excellent kitchens and
a bistro.
