Talk:
21st October, Thursday, 7:00pm
Barricade Books
115 Sydney Rd
Brunswick
9387 6646.
Bring along your ideas about Globalisation and Global Capital. Is it
Good/Bad? Why people who support One Nation are against Globalisation and
where do they fit in to libertarian action and thought against Global
Capital?
Details of Protest
The capitalist International - International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World
Bank (WB) is holding its congress in Prague 2000 in order to enter the new
millennium under the banner of neo-liberalism and to co-ordinate their
murderous stategy for coming years. Hundreds of presidents, bankers and
top managers are supposed to take part in this macabre event, a
celebration of class injustice, exploitation and violence.
The Federation of Social Anarchists (Czech section of the International
Workers Association) have prepared a series of actions beginning on
October 16th, 1999 and culminating during the congress.
The FSA have put out a call for international protests and
demonstrations on Saturday, October 16th, under the common slogan of
"International of Workers against the International of Capital".
Join the Anarcho-Syndicalist Group of Melbourne on the State Library Lawns
at 12 noon to demonstrate against the IMF and World Bank's program of
neo-liberalism and economic terror.
This is just the beginning.
