history tours that exposed the hidden history behind the resepectable
facade of our city, buildings churches and department stores - the real
history of conflict, riots, strikes and jailings. Highlights of this tour
will include a visit to the site of the Melbourne Stocks where prisoners
were subject to brutal public humiliation and torture as well as a stop at
the scene where striking wharfies fought a heroic street battle against
scabs and police.
