The final planning meeting (and banner painting working bee) for the 
International Human Rights Day demonstration will be on Wednesday 8 
December at 6pm at the Free Timor Campaign office, Trades Hall corner 
Lygon and Victoria Streets, Carlton South.

The 1999 International Human Rights Day demonstration is scheduled to be 
held on Friday 10 December 1999 at 6pm at the GPO, corner Bourke and 
Elizabeth Street, Melbourne.

Volunteer marshals are requested to meet at the GPO at 5:30 pm.

The aim of the demonstration is to focus on human rights in the Asia
Pacific. The demonstration is proposed in solidarity with the people of 
East Timor and in solidarity with the workers' movement. All speakers 
are invited to make women's rights a part of their contribution.
