Dear All,
Public First have called this meeting to discuss organising protest action
with respect to the World Economic Forum in Melbourne from 11th-13th
September this year.The World Economic Forum meeting will be very much in
the tradition of the OECD negotiations over the MAI,the WTO's meeting in
Seattle and the recent gathering of the world's economic elites in
Davos.The protests against the September meeting will hopefully also
continue on the tradition of the protests against these earlier
events.Anyone interested should feel free to attend the meeting at the
Plumbers Union on 17/2/00 at 7.30pm.
