running on the "Worker's First" ticket for State Secretary position.

• DAVE CUSHION
Assistant Secretary of the MUA (Maritime Union of Australia), activist in
the MUA reform group

• JOHN CLEARY
ETU (Electrical Trades Union) organiser, involved in the Yallourn power
dispute and the current building workers 36 hour campaign

• MICHELE O'NEIL
Joint Assistant Secretary of the TCFUA (Textile Clothing and Footwear Union
of Australia)

• SUE BULL
Former CPSU (Commonwealth Public Sector Union) organiser, rank and file
activist and leader of the CPSU reform group, member of the DSP (Democratic
Socialist Party)

Victoria has been shaken by an upsurge of industrial struggle. With mass
support for the MUA still fresh in our minds; the Metal workers Campaign
2000 and the Building workers 36 hour campaign mark key battle fronts for
all working people. This forum will help draw a balance sheet of these
campaigns, debate the relationship to the Bracks Labor Government, examine
the implications of an expected recession and discuss the way forward for
unions...
