Union weeks at the New International Bookshop
May 7 - May 21 Two Weeks at the Bookshop of 'Books for Everyone' Left and
union publications that everyone can read. Stock up before the GST!
Contributions and assistance called for.
A mini-display is planned starting from May-Day. We welcome union and
individual help with books (sale or return) other publications and posters.
A short publication for the occasion is also planned summarising Left and
union positions in a readable way, and seeks writers and editorial assistance.
There can be associated events, including a possible 148th Anniversary on
May 14 of the Trade Unions Literary Institute.
There will be a catalogue of other easily-readable Left books in the
bookshop, so that everyone can know 'what the media does not tell you', and
there will possibly be cafe surprises.
Ordinary people on the Left need knowledge and goals.
Unionists need to know more about each other.
Literacy for the Left is for everyone.
The usual main display at the Bookshop will continue unaffected.
