As previously mentioned, Manning Clark House has organised a forum on ways
forward for Australia and Timor, to occur all day Friday 5 May. The venue
will be the Main Committee Room, Parliament House, Canberra.
Speakers at the forum include: Jose Xanana Gusmao, Laurie Brereton, Vicki
Bourne, Marise Payne, Tim Fischer, James Fox, James Dunn, and Hamish McDonald.
Admission to the forum will cost $60 (waged) and $30 (MCH members &
unwaged). Also, any donations towards the cost of running the forum will
be very warmly received.
Copies of the registration form, including information about booking
tickets, may be obtained from Sebastian Clark (03-9329-1696) or from David
