The Federal Government has spent over $400 million to try and make a really
bad idea - the GST, sound like a good idea.
Included in this sum is $10 million for a mail out to every Australian
household. If you don't want to be told how to think and could find around
10 million better ways to spend $10 million dollars (like housing the
homeless, feeding the hungry, improving health care, repairing the
education system etc., etc., etc) then do something about it.
When you receive your glossy tax-for-the-rich promo brochure, mark it:
Return to Sender
[and then add something witty like]
Moved to a country with a fairer tax system
Occupant deceased: the GST killed me
NO MORE JUNK MAIL!
Stick your filthy, capitalist, economic rationalist crud up your arse!
If I wanted ultra right-wing propaganda, I'd buy the Daily Telegraph!
Tax the rich, not the poor!
