Residents Against McDonalds are commemorating the first anniversary of the demolition of the 109 year old house at # 1 Sussex Street, Pascoe Vale to construct the drive-through McDonalds now on the site. A plaque will be unveiled on the footpath outside. A year ago 200 police and 80 private secuity guards overpowered the protesters and the historic home destroyed. The residents have shown the video film McLibel and participated in World anti-McDonald's Day October 16th.
