We're back .... ! Skof your heart out at St Kilda Food Co-op
The St Kilda Organic Food Co-op (Skof) is open every Saturday between
10-2.30pm, at the rear of St James House, 435 Inkerman Street, East St
Kilda.
We sell organic and biodynamic food, ranging from fresh fruit and
vegetables, dairy products, eggs, tofu, cheese, dried fruit, beans, cereals,
pasta, herbal and conventional teas, environmentally friendly cleaning
products and personal hygiene products, oils and vinegars and more.
Because we are community-run and operate on a not-for-profit basis, we are
able to sell at prices that are usually cheaper than boutique,
commercially-run, groceries. We have members from Murrumbeena to Moorabbin
and everywhere in between.
Anyone can join. If after a trial shop, you want to keep 'skoffing', you
will need to become a member. This gives you a formal share in the
co-operative with a say in how it is run and the opportunity to become more
involved. The memberships range from individual concession/ $15 a year, to
$30 for a household/family membership.
Our produce comes without Genetically Modified Organisms, and your
purchasing power will support organic and biodynamic ose not to degrade the
environment with pesticides, herbicides and artificial fertilisers.

ordering stock, being on a roster, or joining/assisting with the committee.
