Philippine Asia Jubilee Coalition against Debt and the Socialist Party of
Labor, Philippines
The inspirational events of Seattle last year have tended to overshadow
major fight backs by people in the south or "third world" against the
institutions and politics of global capital.
Taking the Philippines as a case study, this forum begins to examine both
the relationship between the north and south as well as key debates in the
Philippine left- such as the role of "social clauses" linked to loans and
the campaign against third world debt.
