Daily Grind was originally written for Melbourne Workers Theatre by Vicky
Reynolds in 1993. It looks at the life of exotic dancers - an experience
Vicky had herself. Now two actors, also with experience of strip clubs, are
preparing to perform Daily Grind again. Katharine McErlean and Inga
Norgrove intended to write a play about their experiences of life working
in clubs - when they came across Vicky's script they decided it said
everything they wanted to say.
The watched and the watcher - You can be a watcher or a watched if you come
to see Daily Grind - Trades Hall, September 7 - 24. 8.00pm Wed - Sat,
6.30pm Sunday, Bookings 9685 5111. Well worth the effort.
