GREEN GAMES IN THE 21stCENTURY

Bob Symington Director of "Green Games Watch 2000" Sydney the first green
summer games in history. He is speaking about the blue print for
sustainable event management.
The Royal Park Protection Group is launching a campaign for "Green Games
2006" Melbourne's Commonwealth Games.
We want to envigorate the alliance between community, environmental and
trade union groups to ensure Melbourne's games are green and we don't just
get a "greenwash" from Government.
Help us petition the Bracks Government to relocate the Games Village from
the Parkville site (the Royal Park Psychiatric Hospital) to an appropriate
location such as the Docklands.
We should be most grateful if you could pass on our invitation to your
contacts. We need the support at our meeting to show the Bracks Government
we are in earnest.
