This is a unique opportunity to hear the perspective of veterans of the
revolutionary struggle against imperialism. As young rebels of the 1950s
and 60s, the Cuban revolutionaries managed not only a revolutionary
overthrow of the capitalist order in their own country, but then turned to
assist the revolutionary movements of Latin America, Africa and worldwide.
Today the working class internationalism and solidarity of the Cuban
revolution continues. In the face of corporate globalisation, Cuba's
revolution advocates an unrelenting struggle of opposition and the
construction of a new just global order.
