SKATEBOARDING RALLY THIS FRIDAY

Skating for a long time has provided young people with a healthy activity.
Now the Melbourne City Council wants to take skating out of the city
centre. A $200 fine will be given to people caught skating and their boards
will be confiscated.
Councillor Wellington Lee claims this is a health and safety issue.
However, the injuries caused by cars reatly outnumber the injuries caused
by skateboarding.Will they ban cars? Of course not.
This is an attack on young people which the Young Socialist League will
fight.
