The 2001 Socialist Party National Conference is being held over the Labour
Day weekend in March. Members and supporters from Victoria, NSW and WA plus
international visitors are attending.
The issues of the economic slowdown, One Nation, union developments,
elections, Socialist Alliances will be discussed plus half a day on the
international situation.
The launch is on 7pm Friday March 9th and this rally also will launch our
new bookshop in Trades Hall. Venue: New International Bookshop, Trades
Hall, cnr Lygon and Victoria Sts, Carlton South.
The Conference proper is from 10am-4pm on Sat/Sun March 10/11th at Trades
Hall, 2nd floor.
Conference is $5 a day for unwaged, $10 for part-time workers, $20 for workers.
