this thursday march 8th the east timor community computer project is holding
a benefit at the empress hotel which is located on the corner of scotchmer
and nicholson streets, north fitzroy (catch the 96 tram).
the show kicks off at 9pm and will feature music from lagermorph, thee stag
knights, sir and the blue stripes.
all monies raised go towards
(a)building a community owned computer school in bebonuk.
(b) providing free computers to schools and grassroots organisations
(c)helping keep a technician over there to maintain the computers and
educate locals in their use as well as aiding the bebonuk community with
other needs.
