Dear All,
The Multicultural choir based at the Footscray Community Arts Centre (which
I sing with) and a cast of thousands more has a big extravaganza on this
Friday and Saturday nights 'The Colour of Water' : a multicultural Murga.*
The theme of the performance is migration and settlement, and features
uraguayan drumming, Vietnamese dancing and a Vietnamese choir, the Italian
women's choir, our choir and more. It's going to be fabulous. It's on at
the Clocktower Theatre in Moonee Ponds, Friday and Saturday at 8pm. Tickets
are $16, $10 concession. Bookings 8243 8819.

* The Murga is a Uraguayan choral form of singing and drama on topical
political issues.
