The statement can be found in the leftlink posting from David Glanz. As
noted here it was endorsed by the workers rally in Charleston, but has
been signed by the vice president of the AFL-CIO, the president of
United Mineworkers of America, the president of the Daewoo Auto Workers
in Korea and the president of the Dockers Union in Denmark. We want lots
of Australians signing on - there's already some on the list. At a rally
of 100,000 workers in Madrid - called over other issues - a statement of
protest was endorsed and 2 Spanish MP were taking it to the parliament
for further endorsement. Liz Ross.
