1:30-5pm (not finalised), and we will be on a panel to discuss the topic

"Towards a Sustainable Society"

National Social Policy Conference 2001
"Competing Visions"
to be held at the University of New South Wales,
Sydney, by the Social Policy Research Centre

from 4-6 July 2001

SPRC will be putting a draft program on their website at

Caretakers has submitted 2 papers to this conference.

One paper was for strand 1 - EMPLOYMENT, UNEMPLOYMENT AND MUTUAL OBLIGATION
The title of our paper
"Complimentary Vision - Rights and Obligations"

The second paper was for strand 6 - WELFARE REFORM, COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
AND THE THIRD SECTOR
The title of this paper
"The Unemployed and Community Work"

Now We the People
10:00am Saturday 14 July

A community wide discussion on alternatives to the growing economic
rationalist and corporate agenda of the world. This discussion will
culminate in a major national conference in July.
